Barbara has had extensive experience in Strategic Human Resources and Organizational Development. Her focus is on ensuring appropriate processes are in place for people to contribute to achieving the strategic goals of the organization. She has also led marketing and internal communications functions that have increased customer brand awareness and ensured all employees were aware of their contribution to the business. She has facilitated strategic planning processes for small and medium businesses, implemented team development interventions for Executive teams and ensured that relationships between different parts of the business were more aligned so the business outcomes were achieved more effectively.Barbara has coached and mentored Senior Executives and Directors in South Africa and Australia. She has also improved the capacity and capability of line managers at all levels using various development and training tools and processes.
Barbara has worked within many different organizations, covering finance, insurance, health, service, retail, logistics, advertising, aged care, recruitment consulting and restaurant management. Her experience has covered both specialist roles and general line management at Executive level.
As a consultant, Barbara focuses on the strategic people issues that are facing businesses today, and works with line managers to think differently about how to resolve them so that the business outcomes can be achieved.
