Laura's background and interest has always been in the Human Resources / Organisational Behaviour field, particularly in how empowering and leading people effectively is a key determinant in the success of any business. It was this interest that saw Laura complete her final year at the Pennsylvania State University, USA, with a focus on strategic management and Organisational Psychology.
Before joining People Dynamics at its inception in 2002, Laura worked in both small and large organisations, always in a role where she was helping and developing people, whether focusing on customer service, consulting / coaching or in a training / facilitation role.
As well as helping grow People Dynamics and develop some of the services, Laura has been heavily involved with providing the Outsourcing feature, particularly to smaller clients. This has seen her recruit and induct new people, train staff on internal policies and facilitate appraisals. As a registered McQuaig Intrepreter, she also enjoys coaching Managers and individuals in how to interpret the results and facilitate positive outcomes, both on an individual and team basis.
Laura enjoys spending time with friends and family and is involved in voluntary First Aid work with St John Ambulance Australia. She loves travelling and meeting new people.
